Saved widget changes are not visible

Saved widget changes should update the storefront without editing theme code. If the preview changed but the live store did not, confirm that you saved the widget used by that page.

Confirm the save completed

Open the widget editor and make sure no unsaved change bar is still visible. Select Save and wait for the confirmation that the storefront is up to date.

Confirm the correct widget

The main feed is the fallback. Additional widgets can replace it on selected page types or matching URL paths.

Select Copy ID beside the widget you edited. Open Shopify's theme editor and confirm that the page's InstaFeedStory app block uses the same ID.

Also review the additional widget's Pages settings. A rule for Collection pages will not replace the main widget on a product page.

Confirm the published theme and template

Make sure the app block is in the published theme and the exact template assigned to the storefront page. Save Shopify's theme editor after changing the block or its ID.

Refresh the storefront once

Open the storefront in a private browser window or perform one normal reload. This helps rule out a cached page without repeatedly refreshing during media processing.

If an earlier design changed unexpectedly after an app or theme update, tell support that you want the previous appearance restored. Include the widget name, page, current behavior, and desired result in words.
