Move or remove the feed in your theme

The widget's position is controlled by Shopify's theme editor. You can move or remove the app block without disconnecting Instagram or deleting the widget from InstaFeedStory.

Move the feed

  1. Open Online Store > Themes in Shopify admin.
  2. Find the theme you want to edit and select Customize.
  3. Open the page template that contains the feed.
  4. Find the Instagram feed app block or app section in the left sidebar.
  5. Drag it to the new position.
  6. Select Save.

The change affects only the theme template you edited. If your products use several templates, repeat the change for each relevant template.

Remove the feed from a page

Open the app block in Shopify's theme editor and select Remove block or Remove section, then save the theme. This removes the storefront placement but keeps your connected account and widget settings in InstaFeedStory.

Hide content without removing the app block

Open Home > Your widgets > Edit > Appearance if you only want to hide the heading or posts. Additional widgets let you control the heading and posts separately. Save the widget after changing visibility.

Removing an app block is different from deleting a widget. Deleting an additional widget removes its saved design and targeting rules, and it cannot be undone.
