Customize the post popup

The post popup opens when a shopper selects a post. It can show the Instagram media beside profile information, the caption, and linked Shopify products.

Choose the popup content

1. Open Home > Your widgets > Edit.
2. Select Popup.
3. Turn Show profile name on or off.
4. Turn Show follow link on or off.
5. Turn Show caption on or off.
6. Turn Show linked products on or off if your plan includes shoppable popups.
7. Select different posts in the preview to test the result.
8. Select Save.

Linked products come from Media > Posts. If the product area is empty, link one or more Shopify products to that post, then return to the widget editor.

How shoppers use the popup

Shoppers can move between posts with arrows, keyboard arrow keys, or a horizontal swipe on touch devices. The caption area scrolls when it is longer than the available space, while the media and products remain easy to reach.

Videos use playback, progress, and mute controls when the plan includes video access and processing has completed.
