Configure carousel movement and arrows

Carousel, Spotlight, and Arc layouts include movement controls that can make the feed feel calm, playful, or continuous. Open Home > Your widgets > Edit > Appearance to find them.

Turn automatic movement on or off

Enable Auto-slide posts when you want the feed to move without shopper input. Shoppers can still swipe or drag the feed.

Arrow buttons stay hidden while automatic movement is enabled. Turn automatic movement off if you prefer shoppers to use the visible arrows.

Choose the movement style

One post at a time moves to the next post and pauses. In the Arc layout, this option is called Focused because it places each post in the visual center before pausing.

Continuous glides smoothly without stopping between posts.

Use Change post every to set a pause of 2, 3, 4, 5, or 7 seconds for focused movement. Use Glide speed to control continuous movement.

Enable Pause on hover if you want desktop shoppers to stop automatic movement while their pointer is over the feed.

Style arrows and cards

When automatic movement is off, choose a Light, Dark, Haze, or Outline arrow style. Pick a style with enough contrast against both your theme and your posts.

Use Space between posts to prevent cards from touching. Use Rounded corners to match the shape of buttons and cards elsewhere in your theme.

Save the widget and test dragging, swiping, and arrow clicks on the storefront after making movement changes.
