Show stories or highlights on your store

Story circles bring the familiar Instagram story experience to your storefront. An eligible plan can show saved highlights, current live stories, or no story circles in each widget.

Choose what a widget shows

1. Open Home > Your widgets > Edit.
2. Select Content, then select Story circles.
3. Choose Show my highlights, Show my live stories, or Don't show story circles.
4. If you chose highlights, select the highlights you want in this widget.
5. Check the desktop and mobile previews.
6. Select Save.

Highlights remain available on Instagram until you change or remove them. Live stories normally expire after 24 hours, just as they do on Instagram.

Each additional widget can use a different story choice. For example, a collection widget can show campaign highlights while the main feed shows live stories.

Prepare story content in Media

Open Media > Stories to download the latest content, reorder highlights, change visibility, and add eligible links or product tags.

If no highlights are available in the widget editor, refresh them from Media > Stories first.
