Add links and products to stories

Eligible plans can turn stories into direct paths to a page or Shopify product. You can add a normal URL to a live story and tag products on live stories or individual stories inside a highlight.

Add a link to a live story

  1. Open Media > Stories.
  2. Choose Stories under Show on your store.
  3. Find the story and select Add link.
  4. Enter the complete destination URL, including https://.
  5. Save the changes.

The link opens when a shopper taps that story. Use a destination that matches the content, such as a product page, collection, article, or campaign page.

Tag Shopify products

Select Link product below a story and choose products from Shopify's product picker. You can link up to three products to one story.

For a highlight, choose Highlights, select the highlight on the left, and find the individual story on the right. Link products below that story.

Linked products appear as shoppable choices in the story viewer. Select a linked product name in the editor to open its storefront page and confirm that it is available.

Use the replace action when one product should change. Use the remove action when only that product tag should be deleted. You do not need to remove every product from the story.
