Uninstall InstaFeedStory from Shopify

Uninstalling removes InstaFeedStory from your Shopify store. It is different from changing or cancelling a subscription inside the app.

Before uninstalling

Open InstaFeedStory's Billing page and review the current subscription state. If you need help with a charge or refund, contact support before uninstalling so the team can review the available context.

Save any generated images or captions you want to keep. Remove the bio page URL from your Instagram profile if you are using it.

Uninstall from Shopify

  1. Open Settings in Shopify admin.
  2. Select Apps and sales channels.
  3. Find InstaFeedStory.
  4. Open its action menu and choose Uninstall.
  5. Review Shopify's confirmation and complete the uninstall.

The storefront widget stops loading after Shopify removes the app. Theme app blocks can remain visible in an unpublished or copied theme until Shopify or the theme editor cleans them up, so review your active theme afterward.

If you only want to hide the feed

Remove the app block in Shopify's theme editor or turn off the relevant widget content. This keeps your InstaFeedStory setup available if you plan to use it again.

If you only want to stop a paid plan, use the Billing page. You do not need to uninstall the entire app to change the subscription.
