Downgrade or cancel your subscription

You can switch paid plans or start cancellation from the Billing page. Shopify applies the final subscription change after you confirm it.

Downgrade from Growth to Sell

  1. Open Billing.
  2. Choose Sell and the billing cycle you want.
  3. Review the Growth tools that will no longer be available.
  4. Choose a reason for the downgrade.
  5. Select Continue with downgrade.
  6. Review the timing shown by Shopify.

A Growth to Sell downgrade is scheduled for the next billing cycle. Sell keeps the storefront selling tools, but Growth-only AI Studio access and the link in bio page will no longer be available after the change takes effect.

Cancel the subscription

  1. Open Billing and scroll below the plan cards.
  2. Select Cancel subscription.
  3. Choose the reason that best matches your situation.
  4. Select Continue.
  5. Review any available setup, billing, or feature options.
  6. Select No thanks, cancel my subscription if you still want to cancel.

Wait for Shopify and the app to confirm the change. Starting the cancellation flow does not mean the subscription has already been cancelled.

Cancellation and uninstalling are different

Cancelling changes the paid subscription. Uninstalling removes the app from Shopify. If you plan to remove the app completely, confirm the billing state and then uninstall it from Shopify admin > Settings > Apps and sales channels.
