Link Shopify products to Instagram posts

Product tags let shoppers move from an Instagram post to the matching Shopify product without searching your catalog. Sell, Growth, and equivalent eligible legacy access can link up to three products to each post.

  1. Open Media from InstaFeedStory's navigation.
  2. Stay on the Posts tab.
  3. Find the Instagram post you want to make shoppable.
  4. Select Link product.
  5. Choose one or more products from Shopify's product picker.
  6. Confirm your selection.
  7. Wait for Updating product tags to finish.


The linked product card shows its image, title, and handle. Select the card to open the product on your storefront and make sure it is available to shoppers.


Add more products


Select Add another product below the existing card. A post can have up to three linked products, and the same product cannot be added twice to one post.

Show products in the widget


Open Home > Your widgets > Edit > Popup and enable Show linked products. Save the widget, then open the post in the storefront preview.


Product linking and popup display are separate settings. A product can be linked correctly in Media but hidden by a widget whose popup has Show linked products turned off.
